Episode Overview
In the somber week of Thanksgiving 1963, the nation grapples with the aftermath of JFK’s assassination, leaving a pall over the holiday spirit. Meg's excitement over being chosen as a regular on Bandstand is overshadowed by her best friend Roxanne's (Vanessa Lengies) exclusion, leading to tension between them. As Roxanne harbors resentment, the atmosphere grows increasingly strained. Meanwhile, East Catholic's football team struggles to fill the void left by J.J. (Will Estes), and Helen (Gail O'Grady) reconnects with the sophisticated Rebecca Sandstrom (Virginia Madsen) at Temple University.
