Episode Overview

General Clayton announces the declaration of a ceasefire, prompting a celebration at the camp. Klinger starts distributing his dresses, and locals begin to take items from the camp. However, Trapper remains skeptical about the news. To sidestep commitments he made to several nurses, Hawkeye pretends to be married. Just as the festivities for the ceasefire—which ultimately hasn’t happened—are in full swing, the mood shifts dramatically with the arrival of injured soldiers.
