Caroline in the City (1995)

Episode Overview

Caroline discovers that a small-town newspaper has canceled her syndicated comic strip, prompting her to drive upstate with an unwilling Richard to uncover the reason. Of course, they run into trouble when Richard's car breaks down, leading them to mediate between the local mechanic and his frustrated wife who is ready to leave him. Meanwhile, Annie spots a rude diner at Remo's—none other than the theater critic who delivered her harshest review. Determined to get back at him, she devises an intricate revenge scheme involving Del, Charlie, and a cab driver/actor who has his own grievances.
