Caroline in the City (1995)

Episode Overview

Annie stumbles upon an old musical notebook while sorting through items Richard plans to store in Caroline's locker. Their playful banter turns to astonishment when they discover one of Richard's pieces is actually the melody for "The Way We Were," a Grammy-winning song by Marvin Hamlisch, Richard's summer camp instructor. Pretending to be Richard's legal advisor, Annie helps him confront Hamlisch's fiercely protective housekeeper, Olga, as he attempts to snatch the award and negotiate for its return. Meanwhile, Caroline runs into her ex-blind date, Trevor, and their rekindled romance faces hurdles due to Trevor's loyal German Shepherd, who still favors his former girlfriend.
