After nine years of silence, an old case resurfaces when a young woman is drugged and assaulted at a beach, echoing the brutal murders of two teenage girls from nearly a decade ago. Strangely, the new victim is found wearing one of the original victim's necklaces. The prime suspect from those earlier crimes escaped justice due to a lack of evidence, but Joe quickly connects the dots between the recent attack and the cold case, working to build a solid case against him. As clues tie the suspect to a missing person's report, the new victim faces a potentially fatal accident that could silence her. Meanwhile, Nicole, whose aspirations of joining the Police Academy are threatened by her past, steps up to go undercover, risking her safety to secure a confession and bring the murderer to justice.
