Episode Overview

The Kingsway detectives spring into action when an eleven-year-old girl is kidnapped from her school and held for ransom. The family's recent lottery winnings suggest a motive for the abduction, but the detectives also begin to question the mother’s involvement. Complicating matters further is the father's aggressive demeanor, which jeopardizes the detectives' chances of a smooth money exchange for the girl's safe return. Taking the case to heart, Joe becomes determined to track down the kidnapper, but his intense focus starts to strain his family life and his relationship with Nicole, who remains unsure of her feelings.
