Episode Overview

For a soldier, receiving mail is a significant moment, and when Zeke opens his letter, he finds a message from his ex-wife. She's upset that he hasn't been writing enough to their three-year-old daughter. With so many burdens already on his shoulders, this added pressure is unwelcome. Before he can dwell on it, he’s called to go on patrol. Goldman orders the team to move out, but Anderson warns them of potential danger. While scouting ahead, Anderson faces a brutal mortar attack. Struggling with the stress of their next mission, which leads them to a valley where Zeke's previous unit was nearly annihilated, it’s clear Zeke is unraveling. Despite his struggles, the squad must prioritize their objective and sets out to rescue a downed pilot while Zeke continues to spiral.
