Episode Overview
Anderson says goodbye to his wife after she reveals her plans to remarry. Meanwhile, Goldman starts dating Devlin, but their budding romance nearly takes a deadly turn when they narrowly escape a VC bomb explosion. Percell grows increasingly frustrated with the absurdity of the war, while Ruiz becomes obsessed with the fear of being the next casualty. Johnson and Taylor check on Bridger, only to learn he is "dead" (though he is just pretending), as Stacy Bridger arrives searching for her father. Goldman is instructed to withdraw a story about a soldier who died in an opium parlor, and Zeke encounters Stacy, saving her from some local troublemakers. He brings her back to the hotel, where he tries to help a suicidal marine deserter who ultimately takes his own life after selling information to the VC. Meanwhile, McKay sends Goldman on a wild goose chase to have time alone with Alex, unintentionally putting Goldman in serious jeopardy.
