James Pendrick, the proud owner of the Pendrick Building, enthusiastically presents his impressive art collection to a captivated audience. The centerpiece of the exhibition is a stunning Rembrandt he acquired during his recent trip to France. To ensure the painting's safe return to the Pendrick mansion, the police are enlisted for security. However, in a brazen act, the artwork is stolen from the elevator, resulting in the tragic death of a security guard found in the car.
