Episode Overview

Holly Collins, DSS Mike Shepherd's favorite country singer, is performing in Brokenwood for what turns out to be her last show. When she is discovered electrocuted, it initially looks like a tragic rock'n'roll suicide. However, Mike begins to question whether it was a drunken mishap or something more sinister. The only lead is a hastily written note in lipstick. Mike must navigate his personal feelings for Holly while dealing with her troubled bandmates: Slim Fingers, Waylon Strings, and Jesse James. As he digs deeper, he uncovers unsettling truths he never expected.
