Episode Overview

During the dry season in the Top End, festive celebrations abound, with Glenti being a standout Greek cultural festival. Jimmy encounters members of the Greek community hard at work preparing traditional dishes and learns to craft dolmades, a beloved specialty. He then visits a Jordanian mother-son duo, Nadeem and Taghreed, who have recently moved to Darwin and run the Flavours of Damascus food truck. They share their cherished recipe for Lamb Kabsa. Next, Jimmy discovers Sumatra Cafe, a hidden gem in an arcade off Darwin Mall, renowned for its authentic Indonesian cuisine and devoted fans. To wrap up his culinary journey, Jimmy heads to Burnett House, one of Darwin's historic tropical homes, where he creates a local delicacy: pearl meat ceviche.
