The Detectives (1993)
S19E03 Old Pine Dry Sink
Episode Overview
Perched above the National Cemetery in Virginia, Arlington House stands as a significant testament to history. Once the residence of Robert E. Lee, it is now preserved by the National Park Service, housing numerous Civil War-era antiques. Historical records indicate that the estate once enslaved 63 individuals, many of whom contributed to the household's culinary operations. Among the artifacts is a painted Old Pine Dry Sink, which catches Norm's eye. Inspired, he decides to create his own version from reclaimed pine, destined solely for houseplants that will adorn its copper surface.
