Juggling the demands of The New Yankee Workshop and This Old House, Norm often finds little time for personal projects. He openly acknowledges that his home remains "a work in progress." To change that, Norm decides to embark on a woodworking venture at home. With his Rumford fireplace in need of a stylish finish, he seizes the chance to craft a traditional Colonial fireplace mantel. Utilizing a selection of woods and moldings sourced from local home improvement stores, Norm brings his vision to life.
