Norm finds himself on the charming island of Nantucket, exploring a unique antique store that features Irish country furniture. He discovers what he describes as "the ultimate occasional table," a beautiful Celtic pine piece with a round top measuring thirty-six inches, supported by four elegant, tapered legs. Back at The New Yankee Workshop, Norm sets out to create his own rendition using reclaimed pine. Throughout the episode, he showcases mortise-and-tenon joinery techniques and demonstrates how to construct a tapering jig.
