Episode Overview
Nick is reassigned from the Hunter Reed case to investigate the troubling claims of a fifteen-year-old girl, April Santos, who alleges that her stepfather, a police officer, raped her. He secures guardianship for her maternal aunt, but soon realizes that the situation might be more complicated than it seems, forcing him to go to CLS to admit he could have inadvertently put April in a more perilous situation. Meanwhile, at Fallin & Assoc., John Clayton approaches the firm to help reorganize his assets at Clayton Steel. Burton declines, insisting there’s no profit in it, but Simon discovers his father’s reluctance stems from personal ties to the plant, where he worked alongside his own father during his youth.
