Jethro receives his clean bill of health from Dr. Twombly, allowing him to graduate from fifth grade. The psychiatrist becomes quite fascinated by Granny’s unique home remedies for different health issues. Drysdale takes him to the Clampett household just as Granny is demonstrating to Pearl how to use a love potion, leading everyone to assume that Twombly’s interest in Granny is romantic.
