Title: The Girl from Home Plot: A set of vintage love letters from Jethro sends Lafe Crick and his daughter, Essiebelle, on a journey to Beverly Hills. Jethro is eager to wed Essiebelle, but his excitement wanes upon noticing her recent weight gain. Unfazed, Essiebelle is infatuated with a boy from their mountain home. When Jed discovers her feelings, he takes action to prevent the wedding from taking place.
