J.D. Clampett, a struggling actor, and his wife stumble upon a bank error that unexpectedly makes them $36 million wealthier. They suspect Mr. Drysdale has betrayed them and absconded with the money. Meanwhile, Miss Jane uncovers the truth, leading to Jake Clampett's arrest. Jed, believing Jake might be family, is determined to secure his release. In a bid to prove his connection, Jake attempts to convince everyone he’s a long-lost cousin. Additionally, Gil Perkins shows up as the pool maintenance man.
