Episode Overview

Granny spots a large creature in the Drysdale’s yard and mistakenly believes it to be the biggest hog she has ever seen. Mr. Drysdale, having taken over a zoo, is utilizing the hippo for promotional purposes, painting advertisements on its side. Eager for meat, Granny urges Jed to purchase the 'hog' so she can have it butchered. Despite Elly's insistence that it's a hippo, they ignore her. Meanwhile, Mr. Drysdale, against Miss Jane's objections, brings in a baby elephant for advertising too. When both animals end up in the Clampett's cement pond, Elly takes them in and washes away the painted ads.
