Episode Overview

Ben's problems arise when he accidentally discovers Rachel photographing a naked Julie for artistic pregnancy shots. After receiving mostly positive feedback, Julie decides to proudly display a large nude photo in the living room, celebrating her body’s changes. Meanwhile, Dave's bond with Ben and Melissa's dog confuses everyone, except Julie, who knows the pet has triggered painful memories for him. When the dog suffers a serious injury in an accident, Dave breaks down in front of Ben. Adding to the emotional turmoil, Dave receives his original birth certificate, leading him to confront his past. Rachel and Jake deepen their relationship by sharing a family dinner with the Rafters. Initially, Ted and Dave doubt Jake can handle the nude photo of Julie, but he impresses them by appreciating the art. This maturity leads Rachel to open up about her own past, including her sex tape.
