Episode Overview

The Rafter House is under scrutiny, and an unexpected reveal leads Dave and Nathan to meet Dave's father, Tom, in prison for the first time. One night, Dave hears a strange noise and, feeling protective, checks on the family. His fears seem justified when he discovers the living room doors ajar. A weary Julie can’t recall if she locked them, leaving Dave uneasy about the situation. Meanwhile, Julie, spending too much time with Ruby, is craving adult interaction. Ted suggests she join a mothers' group to break the cycle. After his run, Dave visits Chel, who is contemplating meeting Tom before her transplant to settle some unfinished business.
