The warriors sense an ominous force gathering against them, and the agonizing anticipation of battle starts to consume them, twisting their already dark souls. This brewing rage simmers within every Hellspawn, who lash out at the injustice of their reality. In Rat City, a deranged STREET PREACHER clutches a boy hostage, his body rigged with grenades as he raves. In their desperate attempt to rescue the boy, several cops are tragically blown apart. Frustrated, an enraged officer takes his anger out on Gareb, prompting Spawn to step in and violently confront the officer. Infuriated by the abuse of authority, Spawn pins the cop against the wall as a warning to others. Meanwhile, Jason Wynn's political pawn, Senator McMillian, is busy campaigning.
