Episode Overview
Jason Wynn is feeling uneasy as an unknown force disrupts his operations. He instructs Merrick to hire outside agents to track down Terry Fitzgerald, but Merrick insists on handling it herself. Wynn, however, wants to distance himself from the mess, prompting Merrick to reluctantly comply with his orders. Meanwhile, reporter Lisa Wu from the Washington Post has uncovered a potentially groundbreaking story linked to the murders of two journalists in Rat City. Her investigation leads her to Senator McMillian, Billy Kincaid, and unexpectedly to Wanda Blake and her daughter Cyan, the latter being Kincaid's last victim. Determined to find out how they are all connected, Lisa begins with Wanda and the alley. After bribing some locals, she discovers Spawn's concealed weapons and receives a crucial lead on someone named Al. The police are overwhelmed as the number of bodies continues to rise.
