The Simpsons (1989)

Episode Overview

Bart discovers that he was a child star in commercials, but all his earnings were squandered by Homer. In a bid for independence, Bart files for legal emancipation and moves out of the Simpson household. Initially unhappy in his new apartment, he soon finds out that famous skateboarder Tony Hawk lives above him, and they quickly become friends. Bart starts to enjoy his newfound freedom. Eventually, Homer reaches out, apologizing and asking Bart to come back home. Bart accepts the apology but informs his family that he’ll be touring with Hawk. At a gathering, Homer speaks with Bart and vows to treat him better in the future.
