Episode Overview

After watching a film depicting the apocalypse, Homer becomes anxious that a similar fate awaits the world. His fears intensify when he witnesses a series of bizarre events, including celebrities plummeting from the sky, blood raining down, and a man dressed as the devil. Attempting to make sense of it all, he works through a complex mathematical equation that forecasts the end on May 18th. However, when that date passes without incident, Homer realizes there was a mistake in his calculations. This leads him to a surreal encounter in Heaven, where he meets God and learns about the impending Rapture.
