Episode Overview

Homer plans a sweet ice skating date for Marge, intending to enjoy some hand-holding and romance. However, as they arrive at the rink, they stumble upon a curling team in training. Intrigued, Marge and Homer hit the ice and quickly fall in love with the sport. They decide to join the curling team and soon find themselves competing in the Olympic trials. Team Springfield emerges victorious, earning a spot at the 2010 Vancouver Games, with Bob Costas narrating the events. Meanwhile, Lisa gets swept up in the world of Olympic pin collecting, becoming completely obsessed thanks to some shady vendors.
