In 1974 Beirut, amidst the tensions of the Cold War, a leading Yemeni politician is assassinated while sitting in his vehicle. Many believe that if he had survived, Yemen’s trajectory would have changed dramatically. The identity of the assassin remains a mystery, and no inquiries were ever made into the murder. Nearly five decades later, his granddaughter Mai Noman, a journalist for the BBC, embarks on a quest for the truth behind her grandfather's untimely death.
