Mallory is overjoyed when she secretly submits a photo of herself with Elyse to a modeling agency for a mother-daughter contest and wins. However, her excitement quickly turns to jealousy when Elyse, who is hesitant about modeling, becomes the main star. While Mallory dreams of the glitzy modeling scene, Elyse needs some convincing to join in. During the photo shoot, Elyse basks in the spotlight, leaving Mallory feeling overlooked. Things take a turn when Elyse is offered a TV dinner commercial to shoot at their home, prompting Mallory to scheme and create some obstacles to her mother’s newfound fame.
