Episode Overview

In the frigid cold of Chicago, with temperatures plunging to 20 below zero, Gary is determined to assist those in need, despite the lack of significant news in the paper. Complicating matters, Chuck moves in with Gary after his heating fails, pushing Gary to spend more time outside. While out, he encounters a homeless boy, who later tragically makes headlines after succumbing to the cold. In a race against time, Gary discovers the boy trapped under a pipe in an abandoned building. Unfortunately, they become locked inside, forcing them to depend on Chuck for rescue from the bitter freeze.
