Episode Overview
Frank Scanlon, a renowned columnist for the Chicago Sun Times known for his investigative stories, encounters Gary during one of his heroic rescues. Intrigued, Scanlon suspects that Gary's actions are not mere chance and decides to probe deeper into his life. He pressures Sun Times cameraman Miguel Diaz to share his secret file on Gary. Meanwhile, after reading an article about Scanlon's impending murder, Gary rushes to intervene, only to discover the paper has misreported the time of the incident. This error leads to his arrest at the crime scene, and even Detective Toni Brigatti starts to suspect his involvement. With Marissa's assistance, Gary escapes his arraignment and becomes a fugitive, determined to uncover the truth behind Scanlon's death.
