Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm (1996)

Episode Overview

When Kano opens strange pits in the ground to torment the defenders, the Earth Warriors realize that the Black Dragon has returned. Nightwolf employs his magical abilities to track their hideout, discovering it's concealed beneath an Egyptian pyramid. Upon their arrival, the Earth Warriors confront and defeat the mummy guards. A showdown with Kano ensues, who had previously been defeated by Sonya in the first Mortal Kombat tournament. True to form, he loses once again. Before they can catch their breath, Kano warns them that the pyramid is rigged with explosives, but the Earth Warriors manage to escape just in time before it detonates.
