Episode Overview

Teresa Hoese, whom Scully and Mulder encountered in Oregon just before Mulder's abduction, is discovered in a desert after suffering from alien experimentation. Doggett contacts Scully, suggesting that Teresa’s condition might be linked to Mulder’s disappearance. Skinner joins them, and they head to the hospital where Teresa fights for her life. As Scully observes her fragile state, it becomes clear to her that this is directly connected to Mulder's own troubling situation.
