Episode Overview
Eleven teams from past seasons embark on an exciting new journey around the globe. This eclectic group features a former champion, a variety of competitors, and plenty of familiar faces, both adored and despised. They set off from Miami, Florida, catching one of two flights bound for Quito, Ecuador. Early on, tension flares as one team deceives another about flight arrival times. Upon arriving in Ecuador, the teams hop into taxis to Plaza San Francisco and then make their way to Pim's Restaurant, three miles away, where they receive staggered departure times for the following morning. The next day, guided by a map and instructed to head to the north entrance, they travel to Hacienda Yarahurco in Cotopaxi National Park. There, they face a Detour that requires either locating missing soldier uniform items or wrangling and grooming a horse. Unfortunately, several teams end up lost in the expansive park, resulting in a costly blunder that leads to one team's elimination.
