Episode Overview
The teams receive their next clue, instructing them to journey over 6,000 miles from Calcutta, India, to Auckland, New Zealand. After that, they must drive an additional 220 miles to Rotorua. One team faces flight delays that set them back initially, but a mix-up with directions unexpectedly puts them in the lead. They encounter a Detour with two choices: Clean or Dirty. The Clean option features a thrilling water rafting adventure, while the Dirty option requires digging for a clue in hot mud. Colin and Christie, Linda and Karen, and Chip and Kim opt for the Clean route, while Brandon and Nicole, along with Kami and Karli, decide to get muddy. A risky choice by one contestant leads to a nail-biting race to avoid elimination. Completing a Roadblock that involves rolling down a hill in a Zorb ball, they finally reach the Pit Stop, but it’s too late for one team, resulting in their elimination.
