Episode Overview
The teams depart from the Pit Stop in New Zealand and head to Westhaven Marina, where they encounter a Roadblock that requires one member to climb to great heights and then jump into a waiting boat. After completing this challenge, they receive a clue directing them to travel over 5,000 miles to Manila, Philippines. One team believes they’ve secured an advantageous flight, but delays and a missed connection force them to join the other teams. Upon arriving in the Philippines, they take part in decorating jeepneys, a nod to the American presence during World War II. However, one team is left waiting as another utilizes their Yield option against them. Next, the teams face a Detour: Plow or Fowl. All opt for the Plow task, which requires using an ox to find a clue, choosing it over herding a thousand geese. The race to the Coconut Palace Pit Stop turns into a frantic competition involving buses and taxis.
