Episode Overview
The teams receive a clue in Ethiopia instructing them to take a charter flight to Addis Ababa and head to a stadium. Upon arrival, they participate in a relay race, partnering with two Ethiopian runners. Following this challenge, the teams travel 3,600 miles to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Here, they face a Detour option: Tree Trunks or Elephant Trunks. With the exception of Freddy and Kendra, all teams opt for Tree Trunks, which requires climbing a coconut tree, balancing on a high-wire, and collecting sap. The Elephant Trunks task involves playing croquet while riding elephants. As one team struggles to keep up, all others complete their tasks and converge in Kandy to make an offering at the Temple of the Tomb. They then tackle a Roadblock that involves climbing a thousand steps and using binoculars to spot the Pit Stop, but one team makes a critical error along the way.
