Episode Overview
The teams receive a clue directing them from their Pit Stop at La Moset Church to Arequipa, famously known as the white city, where they must locate a shoe union. After some strategic maneuvering, all the teams end up on the same ten-hour bus journey, with one racer paying the driver to only open the front doors upon arrival. At the shoe union, they face a Roadblock that requires them to polish five pairs of shoes to earn five Peruvian sols. While some teams charm their way through the task, others struggle to persuade the locals to pause. The next clue leads them to two staggered flights to Santiago, Chile, departing and arriving 45 minutes apart. Upon reaching Chile, the teams tackle a Detour: Shop or Schlep.
