Episode Overview

The teams depart from their Pit Stop at a ranch in Mendoza and head to Cabana La Guatana, located 25 miles away. While some teams take advantage of a solid lead due to the four-hour penalties imposed on others last week, others find themselves in a frantic race to catch up. During a challenging Roadblock, participants must ride a horse and spear a ring within 40 seconds, leading to an unexpected turnaround for one team that surprises the frontrunners. For the Detour, teams choose between Shipwreck or Island, either searching a seven-mile radius for a wreck or seeking a flag on an island. Most teams manage this task without much trouble, although a few encounter boat issues, and one team is taken aback when they find themselves at the island instead of the shipwreck. The episode concludes with a nail-biting finish as the lagging teams sprint to the Pit Stop, eager to avoid elimination.
