Episode Overview
The teams depart from their Pit Stop in Munich, Germany, receiving a clue that directs them to fly 850 miles to a century-old opera house in Palermo, Italy. One team secures an early flight, gaining a significant advantage. Upon arrival at the opera house, they find a clue that instructs them to drive 42 miles in a designated car to Castellammare del Golfo. There, they encounter a Detour: they can either sift through 2,400 pieces of laundry or transport a heavy bell. For the Roadblock, one team member must assemble a Greek statue, but they aren't informed about two extra pieces. After finishing the statue, they trek a mile on foot to the Pit Stop at the Tempio di Siegesto. One team makes a critical mistake by heading to the Pit Stop before completing the Roadblock, but unforeseen circumstances lead to another team’s failure.
