S02E14 The Mad Bubbler
Episode Overview
As a total lunar eclipse casts a shadow over Third Earth, Mumm-Ra seizes the opportunity to unleash a spell that disrupts Cats Lair and its operations. The Thundercats soon notice the chaos as their surroundings begin to malfunction. While Lion-O and Panthro struggle to control the Thundertank, they engage in battle with the Mutants. Despite their difficulties, they manage to defeat the Mutants, although they crash the Thundertank in the process. Realizing Mumm-Ra is behind the mayhem, Lion-O heads to the pyramid to confront him. Meanwhile, Cheetara and Tygra scramble to repair Cats Lair, but they soon face an attack from the Lunataks. Although they fend off the Lunataks for a time, the villains return to wreak more havoc. To break Mumm-Ra's spell, Lion-O must wield the Sword to block out the sun.
