ThunderCats (1985)

Episode Overview

Lion-O, Lynx-O, Snarf, and Tygra venture into the Crystal Canyon, suspecting the Lunataks may have stolen the Treasure of Thundera. There, they run into Aluro and Chilla, who cleverly deceive the Thundercats with illusions of themselves. In the chaos, they manage to disable the Thunderstrike, resulting in a crash that leaves Lynx-O badly hurt and Lion-O unconscious. Tygra and Snarf discover the Keystone, and when Tygra holds it, he believes it amplifies his strength. He uses it to repair the Thunderstrike and heal his friends. However, when they return to the Lair, the others realize Tygra has developed a dangerous dependency on the Keystone. Despite their warnings, Tygra remains oblivious. During a confrontation with Aluro, he overestimates his power, only to be proven wrong when Aluro seizes the Keystone for himself, becoming addicted as well, and captures Lion
