S03E09 The Telepathy Beam
Episode Overview
Vultureman invents a gadget that distorts Cheetara's sixth sense, causing her to perceive false images and doubting her own abilities. At the same time, the Lunataks enslave Panthro using a mind control device, forcing him to modify the Sky-Tomb for a journey to Thundera. As the Thundercats search for Panthro, Vultureman tricks Cheetara into seeing visions of him being captured by Mumm-Ra, trapped on Hook Mountain, and imprisoned in Castle Plundarr. Lion-O confronts Mumm-Ra but is ambushed by Luna and Amok, while Tygra is caught by Red Eye in Plundarr. The Thunderkittens also fall into a trap on Hook Mountain. Just as Cheetara feels she might lose her sanity, Lynx-O advises her to trust her heart over her mind. This empowers her to unleash a burst of energy that destroys Vultureman's device, freeing Panth
