Episode Overview
Max takes on the case of Jackson Turner, an environmentalist accused of murdering a CEO. Jackson claims he was on a plane when the crime occurred, and Max tracks down a flight attendant who recalls him snoring. As they work together, a romantic connection blossoms. Once Jackson is exonerated, they head to his cabin for a weekend getaway. However, Max discovers that the CEO was killed by the venom of a rare spider, making it possible for Jackson to have committed the act without being there. In a panic, she jumps out a window but soon returns with Overton to confront him. Jackson maintains his innocence and notices that a spider is missing. They deduce that his assistant, Peignor, had access to the spiders. Just then, Synclaire, Regine, and Kyle arrive to check on them. Peignor then emerges from the bathroom brandishing a gun. In the ensuing chaos, Kyle and Overton tackle him, accidentally breaking the case containing the spiders. As Pe
