Episode Overview

Khadijah's distant father reaches out, asking her to look after her pampered half-sister, Stephanie, who’s in town for a track meet. Khadijah enlists Ivan to help keep Stephanie out of trouble, but she sneaks off to a party and ends up drinking too much. The next morning, she suffers a brutal hangover just before the finals. Despite Khadijah's urging, Stephanie has to abandon the race to vomit. Frustrated, Khadijah struggles to understand why Stephanie would waste this chance, but Stephanie reveals she’s exhausted from the pressure of being seen as a future Olympian and wants a normal college experience. Khadijah is taken aback to discover their father views her as a role model for Stephanie. Meanwhile, Regine suspects Max wrote a letter to a magazine about her tendency to push men away, particularly one guy. She and Kyle press Max for answers, but she firmly denies it, even as Overton seems to know more
