Episode Overview

Kyle and Max fabricate stories about weekend trips out of town while sneaking off to a hotel together. They firmly deny any romantic intentions, but it's clear their claim is far from the truth. After a series of escalating arguments, they decide to part ways, though they plan another meeting. Regine grows suspicious of their alibis and is determined to uncover the truth about their relationship. Khadijah manages to find them and warns Max, suggesting that he might actually have feelings for Kyle, something he refuses to admit. Meanwhile, Overton and Synclaire take advantage of Kyle’s absence to settle into the apartment, briefly questioning their frequent bickering as a sign of their readiness for marriage, but ultimately deciding that conflicts are normal in any relationship.
