Episode Overview
Max seeks Khadijah's assistance to uncover an embezzlement scheme at City Hall. Meanwhile, Ty Richardson, the arrogant new reporter at Flavor, insists on breaking the story but ends up getting arrested during a bar fight. With time running out, Khadijah and Max take matters into their own hands, breaking into the office of a woman who took an unusual vacation. They find she has fabricated computer records. Ty unexpectedly arrives with his own story, revealing that his arrest was a ruse to gain access to the jailed accomplice. Khadijah forces him into a joint article. Elsewhere, Overton struggles with the Cleveland Browns’ relocation to Baltimore, prompting Synclaire to invite Jim Brown to talk to him. Jim advises Overton to let go and focus on his life with Synclaire, even gifting him copies of his films. Meanwhile, Regine defends her date, who doesn't impress at first glance.
