Episode Overview

While the girls gather in Synclaire's room on the eve of the wedding, a tipsy Regine laments her struggles in finding love. After she stumbles off to bed, Max declares her plan to grab some beer, but both Khadijah and Synclaire know her true motive. Max, feeling defensive, denies the seriousness of her relationship with Kyle. When she meets him on the fire escape, he reveals he’s been offered a role to lead a new office in London, while she feigns indifference, claiming to consider a partnership in Philadelphia. The next day, Khadijah worries that marriage will drive her and Synclaire apart, but Synclaire reassures her they'll still be close. Meanwhile, Overton faints from not eating for a day. Regine is disheartened when Russell arrives with a stunning woman, and Max only deepens her sadness by revealing she’s been seeing Kyle, leaving Regine feeling even more isolated.
