Nash Bridges (1996)

Episode Overview

Nash and Joe encounter Lyle, who reveals the hidden location where the SIU barge has been towed. In exchange for the information, Joe returns Lyle's chihuahua, Ginger, who had been held captive. Meanwhile, a truck crashes into a van transporting three prisoners. Upon arriving at the scene, Nash deduces that a fake paramedic van has successfully facilitated the prisoners' escape. Later, Nash, Joe, Harvey, and Evan find the SIU deserted and without power. The Mayor has granted a week-long stay before the Police Commission hearing, during which Nash and his team must recapture the escaped prisoners to save the SIU. One of the escapees, Jimmy “Shank” Brasher, is crucial to the immunity deal for Reuben Banks' daughter, Gina. The other two escapees are Darnell Galloway and Elliot Wong.
