Episode Overview
Jenny urges Ally to date Glenn, but Ally firmly denies having any feelings for him. The trio is tasked with managing the telemarketing case, which proves challenging due to the main plaintiff, Claire Otoms, a flamboyant woman with purple hair who resides in a colonial-style house. Raymond, aware that the judge might favor Claire's perspective, brings her deposition to court. Despite Claire's tendency to veer off-topic, Ally finds hope in the chaos. Meanwhile, Coretta convinces John he needs to present himself well, prompting him to wear a fake muscle suit to combat his unusual charm with women. Ling and Nelle offer compliments to twin babies on the street, leading their mother—the governor of Massachusetts—to be so flattered that she proposes a judgeship to Ling. Overwhelmed, Ling crafts a purple robe and begins delivering verbose statements.
