Episode Overview

As a series of bomb hoaxes disrupts the tranquility of Sun Hill, Brownlow is determined to track down the pranksters and restore order. Galloway, confident in his abilities, wagers with Cryer that he can crack the case, enlisting Roach and Dashwood to assist him. Meanwhile, Cryer assigns Carver the task of mentoring a newly qualified officer, Higgins, on the ins and outs of Sun Hill. However, a confrontation with a local drunk, who later accuses Carver of theft, raises doubts among the uniformed officers about Carver's competence and his ability to maintain the integrity of the force.
